Courage Practice Challenge

Intro

It’s easy to look someone else’s life and point out what’s wrong or what needs to change, but for most of looking inside of ourselves is much more difficult. And sadly the same thing goes for seeing the good things. So much of our trouble comes from not being able to see ourselves as we really are… Maybe we’re afraid of what we’d find. I mean, what if we found something in there that was truly horrible? Or maybe even scarier in some ways, what if we found something that was more brilliant than we ever imagined?

Show Notes

The Courage Challenge asks us to take a deeper look at the patterns of the past and what we can do right not to change the future. Everything that we do here sets the stage for what happens next. We take everything that we did in the Study Journal episode and apply it to create a regular practice.

We talked a little bit about:

  • Increasing Feeling of Protection and Safety

  • Yogic Methods for Self-Study

  • Exploring the Obstacles to Practice

Physical Expression for Courage – Fierce Pose

Starting Ritual for Courage– Abhaya Mudra Breath-work

Meditation for Courage – Channeling the Energy in the Storm
